Most of it seems to have passed to Shannon County. There are more storms developing in Wyoming, but they might not amount to much.

Crazy winds in New Underwood, lots of lightning, but no rain yet. Everything seems to be passing to the south. There is a tornado warning for Edgemont.

Those Wyoming storms seem to be picking up steam as they move SE from Gillette, however. They might give us a wild ride.

Lots of lightning, lots of wind and no rain. We had one fire. I have a bad feeling there will be more.

...a severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect for eastern
lawrence...southwestern meade and southeastern butte counties until
1100 pm mdt...

At 1035 pm mdt...national weather service doppler radar indicated a
line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter size
hail...and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were
located along a line extending from vale to 7 miles southeast of bear
butte state park to nemo...moving east at 40 mph.

Locations impacted include...
Piedmont and black hawk.

This includes interstate 90 between south dakota mile markers 26 and
53...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging wind in excess of 60 miles per
hour...destructive hail...deadly lightning...and very heavy rain. For
your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your
home or business. Heavy rains flood roads quickly so do not drive
into areas where water covers the road.

Northwestern harding county in northwestern south dakota...

* until midnight mdt

* at 1052 pm mdt...national weather service doppler radar indicated a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail...and
damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located near
camp crook...or 20 miles west of buffalo...and moving northeast at
30 mph.

* locations impacted include...
Buffalo and ladner.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Severe thunderstorms produce damaging wind in excess of 60 miles per
hour...destructive hail...deadly lightning...and very heavy rain. For
your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your
