From Fall River County dispatch;
County Fire Updates
Over eight lightning strike fires were reported to Fall River Dispatch this evening. All are now out or 100% contained with the exception of one on the Litzel Ranch which is still active. These included fires in Cedar Canyon, Morgan’s near Oral, and multiple strikes near the Nebraska State line.
Updates from Great Plains Dispatch:
The Moss Agate fire 10 miles Northwest of Edgemont was reported as 60% contained today as of 8:00PM.. The fire is currently at over 7,000 acres with little growth expected. There are currently 14 engines, 1 water tender, and 1 hand crew assigned to this fire.
The North Horse Fire west of the Wild Horse Sanctuary is now 70% contained. The smokejumpers are staying with the fire tonight to continue strengthening the fire line and begin mop up. This fire is currently at 22.5 acres.

It should be noted that the biggy, the Myrtle fire near Pringle, is now completely under control. Firefighters continue to mop up hot spots, but all evacuation orders have been lifted.
