Well, the Dakotas HAVE to be number ONE for me. You know I've spent my entire life here so I guess that as a whole, I love it here. (Except for the cold and snow, but I won't whine about that AGAIN right now.  )
Actually, we like the eastern edge of Oklahoma, too. It's very pretty there with being at the edge of the Ozarks, having the Quachita Forest, etc. They have a lot of really nice lakes and it's not overrun with people either. And it's fairly WARM there.
Of course we've always liked Wyoming. The eastern edge of it is just sort of an extention of the Hills. And naturally, who could say anything bad about the Tetons or Yellowstone~except that IT'S COLD THERE.  (Sorry, I couldn't stop myself.)
