Spearfish - Moving to Spearfish, looking for Montessori Schooling (Rapid City: for rent, houses)

We are moving to Spearfish in the near future. I can't find a Montessori School in Spearfish.... does anyone know if there is one within 20 miles? Maybe a small private school? I found some in Rapid City, but too far to drive!
If there isn't any Montessori Schools, can anyone recommend grade schools. From what I am finding about the schooling looks like we may homeschool. HELP! Also, if anyone has a nice house for rent, let me know. Until we find land to build on we will rent. Thank you all!

There are two Montessori schools in Rapid and several private, Christian schools. There are two grade schools in Spearfish, East and West, and I don't know that one is any better than the other. Most small towns around here don't have private schools because they wouldn't have the income to pay for it.

The only towns within 20 miles of Spearfish would be Deadwood/Lead, Belle Fourche and Whitewood (maybe some other teeny tiny ones, I apologize if I left one off ) I think Rapid would be your only option. Unless there is a small private school in Sturgis.

The school systems here in Spearfish are very good. My daughter went through K-12 here and any issues that arose were dealt with and solutions easily attained. West Elementary houses K-2nd, East 3rd -5th, and the middle and high schools. Obviously there can be issues anywhere, but the kids that get involved with school activites and have parents involved as well seem to sail right along.
