Move along people, nothing to see here...lol
I just wish we could find out what if any "NEW" restaurants are supposed to be coming to town in any of these new business developments.

Speaking of new restaurants, scratch CiCi's Pizza off your list. I just heard back from their corporate office -- it sounds like the SD franchisee, who has locations in Sioux Falls and Watertown, is interested in Rapid City but isn't looking to add a restaurant here at this time.

In brighter news, the dirt work in Rushmore Crossing (on the other side of the road from Target) is set to be an Interstate Batteries store.
It's quite possible there will be some other stores there too - the developer's plan for the site places a three-sectioned building at about that site, which could mean other stores there as well.

Bleh. Don't worry - you aren't missing out! Cheap cardboard pizza - if I wanted that, I'd buy a freezer case pizza! There are better options!

With the way the economy is at least news of new stores opening keeps trickling in. Never been close to an Interstate Batteries store before. Also I can't wait to see what a Tractor Supply store is like. Seen commercials for it, but I'm from PA and I don't think we have any even remotely close to there.

We have an Interstate Batteries here; I've never been in, so I can't give an opinion...but TSC is GREAT! I love that they carry Ariat - no one else around here does, unless I want to drive to Indy...great clothes, great farm toys, good prices on household stuff...and I am sure there is plenty more for someone who actually farms or ranches! I have gotten a lot of stuff there for my garden.

There is a Tractor Supply in Sioux Falls on North Cliff Avenue and Benson Road areas. I know of couple of people who like to go there to buy items. There is one in Yankton on North Broadway. For a supply store, it is not bad and has a lot of practical stuff. My dad went there for getting stuff for around the house.

Well it’s been announced that Sam’s club will take the west anchor in Rushmore crossing, adding 15,000 square feet more than the current location. as for a new Walmart up on 16, Walmart is done fighting the issue, and they are going to be the big evil company they are and force everyone to deal with our current over crowded Walmart. If rapid wants a second store, we (the city) will have to go to Walmart and tell them where we want it. Walmart doesn’t want any TIFs or "freebees", rather they just want to know where it’s acceptable to build..... I wouldn’t mind one out in black hawk off the new exit! I would transfer there and it would only take 5 min to drive to work, and there would be a place not too far from home to buy video games 24/7.
Also from what I understand the space next to target is where linen & things was going to be, however since they went under, apparently target bought the space so they can use it for future expansion. However the space that is there is apparently still not enough for a ‘super’ target.

I see a couple of you mentioned the word "Sonic." We're about to get our first one here in Wilkes-Barre, PA in the coming months, and they've been tantalizing us with television advertisements to get us excited. Is it really worth the "hype?" Everyone in Wilkes-Barre has been talking about this! "Lime-ade?" That sounds orgasmic!

It is worth the hype to me!!! They built the one we got in Rapid when I was deployed last year and when I got home that was the first place we went to eat at....ORGASMIC! lol Wish we had one back in PA closer to Harrisburg than the one that's outside of Lancaster.
