Does anyone know if there are any gyms for weightlifting/bodybuilding in Hot Springs? I was looking at a job in the area and was hoping that the nearest one wasn't the fitness centers in Rapid City like the internet was telling me My hubby will be very upset with me if there are none!

Yes, there are two. One is at the Evans Plunge which is an historical warm water spa & fitness center which also has a weight room and some stationary bicycles as well as other exercise machines. It is publicly owned and while I forget what the annual fee is, I do remember that it is reasonable. There is also a gym & health club which I do not know a lot about except that it is open for business. We also have a reasonably extensive trail system for walking or biking.

uh

Unhappy What a joke

Hot Springs is a dying town. Do not work out here because the business will most likely close. Find a gym in Rapid City.

No need to go that far. If everything "dies" in Hot Springs just go work out at the YMCA in Custer.
