Default DO autism spectrum kids qualify for MA in SD?

Do kids with autism spectum disorders qualify for MA or state health insurance in South Dakota? Is anyone on this board familiar with this, and if so, what are the details? Thanks.

Medical Services :: Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)

I'm sorry that I'm not very familiar with that particular situation. BUT we do have what is called the CHIPS program in South Dakota. Children under the age of 19 qualify for state health insurance. I don't know if there are any income guidelines or not, but you may want to check out the above link.

Default kids with autism/disabilities

The State of South Dakota has several programs for children with special needs; some are based on income; some are through the local school districts and state dept of education; the South Dakota state home page is a good starting point for information and any of the local school districts have excellent staffing assistance. Good Luck and welcome!

From what I have found to qualify for anything here for children you pretty much have to live on welfare and in poverty.... nothing for the hard working middle class!!
