Sorry, didn't mean to imply that about SD officials. I was speaking strictly of the horrible mismanagement of funds we have here in Ohio with our horribly bloated and ever growing state and local government.

Just think, you are able to fund all those necessary state functions without all the extra taxes they impose on us here. At the same time, they create new taxes and raise the ones we already have every year because they claim that they don't have enough funds. Makes you wonder where all that money is going..hmmm.

Like my daddy always said about taxes in SD "its a great place to live, but not a good place to die". High estate taxes, but they are working on making that better.
Look again for prices on housing in Rapid City. You must have found a web site that had high end housing. Rapid City Real Estate Black Hills Multiple Listing Service, Black Hills Association of REALTORS, South Dakota has a great assortment of prices. (black hills multiple listings)
