Alright!!! Welcome to Mitchell. You chose a nice motel to stay at. It was only built a few years ago and looks so nice.

Too bad you're not here during the summertime cause our town is actually pretty then. Have you done any touristy things yet?

Well, have a good trip out west. I went to Walmart this morning and thought about you cause I drive right past the Kelly Inn on my way out there. Have a great trip. I still wish it'd have been summertime cause Mitchell is pretty drab in the winter. Our entire state will be much prettier in another couple of months.

Mitchell is a nice city and would be one of the top cities I would consider along with Yankton if I moved outside the Sioux Falls area. It is a nice-sized city with a mix of old and new and has a lot of potential in the future with its 1-hour proximity to Sioux Falls and good highway access. Mitchell is neat during late May and June and during harvest time in late September and October.

Too bad you couldn't stay all weekend Newman, it's supposed to be 60 degrees on Saturday! Glad to hear that you liked the Black Hills. I can't remember, was this your maiden visit to the Hills?
