The job market is Sioux Falls is strong. You don't necessarily have to work in a call center environment.
Healthcare is a big part of the job market in Sioux Falls... Sanford and Avera are always building and adding jobs.
I think it depends on age and your idea of social life.
If it involves lots of nightlife your going to be a bit disappointed unless you like country music or biker bars. There are some fun places downtown on Phillips or in the 8th & Railroad area but even those are dead sometimes on a weekend night.
As far as jobs go, Sanford is expanding and places like eSurance are constantly looking for management type people. So there are some benefits there. Someone who is single with some management level employment could also afford a pretty nice apartment or condo around here, far better than in a larger city.

I am albert from southern CA,professional hotelier owned small hotel management company. I am getting opportunity to Lease to Buy option in webster SD. I know for sure SD is not California,,, Any suggestion advice highly appreciated Albert email albert@wchmgt.com or call 949-466-2551

Beyond hunting season and a small amount of summer outdoors seekers Webster is pretty dead. It is nowhere near any major interstates, cities or attractions.
