The Hospital was completed about 8 yrs ago and does a good job for emergency and urgent care as well as recovery services. Most major surgery is performed at Rapid Regional in Rapid. A nursing home has been built on the hospital grounds and there has been a med evac facility added also. The current construction seems to be an addition to the parking lot.

I grew up in Hot Springs. First through 6th Grade, but I have stayed in touch with many classmates. It is a beautiful city, Evans Plunge swimming pool, several well maintained parks, low cost housing, nice neighbors. One of the best VA Hospitals in the Nation is there, Battle Mountain V A Hospital. If you are a Vet you are in luck. The Fall River runs straight through it and we used to watch it flood once or twice a year.
