They had to do something. There was entirely too much grain being raised and it would drive the prices down to where everybody would loose. There fore they would stop growing that grain and there would be a shortage the next year. So to even it out they'd pay for "Soil Bank". For instance, we raised 90 acres of wheat. The next year they offered to pay us Soil bank for 10 acres and we could only raise 80 acres. That was a limit set. By pulling Soil bank, that held our marker and we were always allowed to raise 90 acres.
Don't worry they get "all" that government money they are actually rich huh? Don't they all get a check every month? Isn't that the consensus here? Can I see proof of that?
I imagine this will get shut down now!! The congress of the United States of America is setting to apologize the indigenous people. I will not post a link because if you wanted you could find it. I suppose they just apologize at random. Sorry if I sound angry but I am.
Nobody said anything about anybody getting all that government money. All that was mentioned is that they turned down sales in the fall for monthly income although the monthly income was a lot less. But then again, the fall sales was not a sure thing. What are you angry about?
I now remember how my father used to rant against that program when I was growing up. He grew up during the Depression.
