Default Nursing schools,

Hey All!
I'm new to this so if I make a mistake I'm sorry. My boyfriend and I are thinking about moving to the Black Hills area. I'm in nursing school now and would like to finish my second year in Black Hills. I've looked on the WEB but couldn't find anything to say that there is a community college or tech school where I can complete my nursing. Any suggestions.
Thanks

You can take nursing classes through SDSU and USD at the Rapid City campuses. One campus in at SDSM&T and the other is downtown off West Boulevard.

Nursing at the School of Mines
USD - USD Department of Nursing

You may want to check the distance learning courses. USD is headquarters for the state's distance learning program and you may want to check the website and your options. You may want to check USD - Continuing Education to see what your options are with distance education. Also there is a higher education center in Rapid City called Higher Education Center West River that has an associates in Nursing, the website is USD - USD Programs at HEC-WR. In the eastern part of the state, University of South Dakota (USD) and South Dakota State University both have nursing programs. The SDSU nursing program is probably the better of the two (a four year program) and I had some high school classmates who took their generals at USD and transferred up to SDSU to take nursing. SDSU also has a distance learning site that is located at Degree Programs. I hope that this helps.

We have a neice who just graduated from Vermillion last year and took her courses out in the Hills. (the long-distance Chris and Danny are referring to) They had graduation in Vermillion for everyone and a few days later had a graduation at Mt. Rushmore for the grads in that area.

Default nursing schools

Good evening everyone.
Thanks for all the good tips! I'll check them out. We're going to be taking a trip out to the hill in June, we can't wait. I haven't been out to the hills since 1993....
