i get the free newspaper weekly prospector which covers black hills. noted some ads for dorsett home (nursing home) which had a web mentioned. i checked web. it covers various job openings in hospitals and nursing homes in black hills including rapid city and spearfish. Rapid City Regional Hospital - Home there are plenty of job listing in the free weekly. casinos, food service, golf course maintenance and lots more. hope this helps. dorsett home is right by me. not too big,but nice. spearfish also has dialysis center for those who need it.

the city of spearfish has been constructing spearfish aquatic and recreation center on the old wal mart property. from my point of view and watching progress almost daily i think it might be ready in august, maybe sooner. my personal opinion. they will probably take applications before long. here is website for city employment which is building the center. City of Spearfish, South Dakota when you get there,check employment/human resources. it will show job openings, etc. i suggest anyone anywhere looking for certain jobs, check city and state names. i use yahoo search. you can also look at yahoo yellow pages,type in city,state desired look at businesses in your area of interest. some will show web sites. you might try specific types of businesses on a web search. again i get best results from yahoo. also plenty of low income housing in spearfish and rapid...senior/ disabled apts. campgrounds..dont be afraid to move this way.weather in hills not as bad as it might seem. so much to do and see. ive traveled around a lot. every place has good and bad points. best to take a trip..see what you think..check out jobs,places to live,etc.. best to all.
