hahahaha Truth be known, I can kind of understand where they would benefit, but man, they'd have to study the traffic pattern for a long time to make sure they were doing it right.
The first one I encountered. the Navy sent me from San Diego to Oakland New Jersey for a school. Problem 1, I drove. Problem 2, they gave me 4 days to be there.
I drove non stop from San Diego to a little town in Indiana where I got a motel room. Ate supper, showered and was now wide awake so I took off again. Next time I was really getting tired was at the Penn, Jersey line. Only had 80 miles or so to go. When I finally exited off the interstate, the first thing I hit was a traffic circle. About an hour later, I finally got the right street and away I went. Being tired after driving that far, a traffic circle is an unwanted thing. San Diego, to Oakland New Jersey. 76 hours.
That's the only one I encountered in my life.

This is nothing more than a rumor. I hope it comes to fruition though!

I agree with the idea of the downtown Canaries stadium. If not that, then move Howard Wood downtown.

Well, the idea is that you keep Howard Wood where it is, tear down the birdcage and move it downtown, and build a new events center/arena on the site of the old arena and stadium.

omg! I cannot believe how your city is growing up as well as out..
40,000 in 7 years! That's considered good growth for metros of 700,000.. Unvelievable..
Also, there is no doubt in my mind that this city can handle a 25+ story mixed use tower.. I could see a 35+ story tower being viable in a city growing this rapidly in a pretty much newly created downtown..
tick..tock..tick..tock.. It's just a matter of time and there will be a lot of buzz...
I am in complete awe with Sioux Falls..

Sanford is supposed to build a 23 or so story tower on the south edge of Sioux Falls in the plot of land southeast of I-29 and I-229.
