You should have posted to the picture thread, that way they wouldn't go away with time, they'd always be on the sticky.
Maybe Jammie can move them if she'd like.
Great pictures by the way. Been years since I've been in Sioux Falls.

Those are very nice pics. Sx. Falls has always been such a pretty and clean city. Hopefully it'll stay that way even as it grows.

An Downtown Events Center where the Skyforce, Storm, and Stampede could play would round it out nicely!

Sioux Falls really does have a lot of potential and it's planned out very nicely. Be proud to live in such a nice and clean city!

Some more pictures follow below, but first, some skyline news:
*7 More Stories Will Be Added To The First National Bank of South Dakota Building, Bringing It Up To 11 Stories
*A 5 Story Office Building Is Being Proposed For The Corner Of Eighth Street and Minnesota Avenue.
*There have also been rumblings about the Canaries willing to build a stadium downtown to make room for a new Events Center.
Now, some pictures from the SkyscraperPage forum.
This is where I want to live if/when I move to Sioux Falls, one of the new lofts at the Security National Bank building downtown:

Sonic, I agree a sports stadium downtown would be awesome... I don't know where they would put it, unless they bulldoze a small area.
The Minnehaha County Courthouse is also adding a story or two to its current building.
Speaking of tall buildings, Do you know of the Vista Towers condos on Kiwanis Avenue by O'Gorman High School? Those are 7 stories tall...but very very expensive.

The Canaries stadium downtown will be neat and would be best put where the old Zip Feed mill if the events center goes adjacent to the Arena. The city will get more of a skyline gradually as the city adds more people. If downtown living becomes more popular, there may be more taller buildings built with the lofts and additional office and retail offerings. The skyline now is certainly better than what it was 15-20 years ago in my memory.

I think a downtown stadium would really help attendance for the Canaries (not that they'd need it, they had a better average attendance of 3,001, than 69 Affiliated Minor League Teams and 40 Independent Minor League Teams)
