Default flooding in hills

we really got some flooding in spearfish and other places in western sd. due to heavy rainfalls. some areas were closed. some evacuations. spearfish creek high, swift and muddy. when the water goes down and clears up i will go see if i can find a little gold washed down from hills. wont get rich, but fun looking!

Haha! Cute Pejuta!
Many people in Rapid City have had flooded basements and severe hail damage from these recent storms. I can imagine it's much worse in the Northern Hills and especially around Belle Fourche -four rivers merge there!
Well, when it rains it pours. At least we aren't having wildfires in 105 degree heat like we were last year... but then again, we still have 3 more months of summer!!!

EEEK!
Thanks for the heads up Pejuta! Angostora Lake is apparently really dirty too because the water has risen up over the vegetation and loose dirt.

OMG, that is scary! Hissers are my arch enemy. I've always hated them and also been terrified of them. They make my palms sweat and my heart race.
