Speaking of the 4th and celebrations, you guys up there are getting some good pub on the tube regarding the fireworks display above Mt. Rushmore. It was on Fox, NBC, and ABC as I have been channel surfing this morning. Always wanted to go, and after seeing these pictures I'm going to make it a point to go next year, provided gasoline isn't 9 zillion dollars a gallon!
I want to wish my future fellow South Dakotans a safe and Happy 4th of July. Will be back up there in 17 more days. Looking forward to it again. Still home searching Gods will this time we will be purchasing a home.

Debey, ill echo Jammie I saw the Mt Rushmore fireworks once... they were just breathtaking...
I watched the fireworks at the Fairgrounds. There was another set going on off... I think at Sherman Park... but both seemed kinda short, but it was neat to watch two different firework scenes.
I guess there was a fireworks shortage nationwide.
