Default How many states have you visited?

In a previous post, I was saying how I wanted to visit all 50 states before I die . How many states have all of you visited?

I've been to SD (of course), North Dakota, Wyoming, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas.

The entire lower 48 -- for me!

I now understand...America the beautiful! Nothing rivals our natural beauty and topographical diversity. America borders 2 major oceans, the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Arctic sea. America has everything from alpine tundra (Green Mountains,VT),unrivaled fall colors in New England, deserts, the Great Plains, coastal rainforests (CA,WA), tropical regions, majestic lakes, and mighty rivers.

America has the most beautiful women -- of every beautiful skin tone, from around the world. I'm biased, but if you see the whole country -- you will agree.

We have the following mountains: Appalachain (Green,White,Blue Ridge,Adirondack,Alleghenies,Smokies), Ozarks, Rockies, Sierra Nevada, Black Hills, Cascades, and the Alaskan Range. We have polar bears, bison, gators, moose, grizzlies, mountain lions, elk, and everything else.

From Alaskan glaciers to sexy South Beach, Miami...America has it all! From sea to shining sea!

I have been to 39 states: California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

I have also been to Washington, DC, although it is not a state.

I still have Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachussets, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. I might add Alabma to my "have been" list next year. The other ones may be a few years down the road.

If I count everywhere I've been, even as a small child, it would be:
California, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Wyoming, SDakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, Indiana, Illinois, New York. I know I've driven thru more as a child on my way to Disney World, but I don't believe we stopped to look around other than for food and gas.

Oh gosh, not as many as you guys have.

I've been around MOST of So. Dak., of course. But those little towns still pop up that I've never heard of.

The Dakotas, The Carolinas, Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Wyoming, Montana, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Wow, that is only 16.

All of the western states. I have not been to New England yet. Nor OK, TX, AR, MS, LA.

Hawaii and Alaska are also on the list.

Wow, I feel so far behind!
Don't worry Jammie, we're in the same boat.
Although I will brag that if you name any small town in South Dakota, I can tell you where it is.

Same here. Any part of South Dakota that anyone hasn't visited?
