Default RN salaries in Rapid City

Hello!

Does anybody have any idea, what experienced nurses (RN) earn in Rapid City?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Pikie, I wish I could help. Keep in mind that SD has a low cost of living, low taxes/fees.

I can't give you a totally accurate figure, but I had a friend who used to drive over to Sx. Falls. She was a nurse in one of the hospitals and she was making in the area of $30 per hour. My guess is that Rapid would be somewhat comparable.

Anyone have an up-to -date exact figure?

Rn's I think start in the $20/hour ranage and move up from there. 5 years ago shift supervisors were like at $28 and hour... That was 2003... I have no idea what they are at now.

My mom works at the hospital. You start around $20 per hour. Some good ones that have been there for years are around the $35 range.

2008: When I looked into it, about $23/hr, experienced (over 10 yrs). Then I talked to the "Celtic" shop owner dntn RC, and I totally lost interest with RC Regional. So I continued with 'travel nursing' and used RC as my base camp. Now I'm moving to SF: for more amenities, diversity, and jobs. Thanks.
