I love eating at the Golden Corral in Rapid City, I try to eat there at least 1 time everytime I go out there, the last time I was there at the end of July it didn't really seem that bright in there but the food was excellent, the service was kinda sketchy but still tasty.

Oh it's fine. It's really cheap and it's on the northside so of course it's not the place to be but I've never had a problem with service or food there and my late grandmother friggin' loved that place! We went there nearly every Sunday after church when I was growing up. I didn't mind Sundays because that's where all the seniors went and the parking lot was full of Buicks and Lincolns.

Pizza Ranch in Rapid City. Crowded, full of screaming kids, service was cruddy and the food was decidedly mediocre. Went once, didn't go back.

silly thread. I ate at the silverado in deadwood because I like casino buffets and it was good and not crowded. Like the italian leaning to the buffet. I thought about the Golden Correll but never got around to it, I ate at some Hong Kong chinese place that was pretty good a bit to the south. I have a preference towards buffets.. more bang for the buck, variety in food selection, no waiting.

Worst place? Probably the chinese place in watertown, sd near the wal-mart supercenter because they don't know how to keep their food warm.. even right after opening. Definitely a reheated taste/texture to the food as well.

But I still go there so knock on wood. I'm not that picky.

The McDonald's in Watertown is high on the list. They just finished remodeling, so maybe that will help. Service is usually bad and the place is usually dirty as hell.

What was at one time the best cafe in Watertown was the Wheel Inn. It has really slipped as of late, especially at night. Breakfast and dinner is still alright.

I wanted to eat there once because I had never lived anywhere that had them. Once was enough.

Long John Silvers. ANY location. It matters not what type
of fish you order. With an inch of breading it will all taste the
same.

Yeah, the Pizza Ranch can be hit or miss. The ones in Rapid and in Chadron, NE are terrible, but I went to one in Carrington, ND that was pretty good.
