Default Pet Peeves

What are your pet peeves?
I got off work early, and ran a bunch of errands, going from one side of SF to the other.
Big pet peeve of mine: People driving in the left lane on the interstate at slow speeds. Don't people know that this is a passing lane? I noticed this on I-229 mainly.
That and people talking on their cell phones loudly in public, or in a public restroom... eww!

I agree with the left lane slow pokes. I notice this every now and then on I-29. I use the the left lane for passing or to move over to allow a car coming from an exit ramp to merge with traffic with ease.

Cellphones serve a useful purpose, but unfortunately some people have no tact when they use them. They would be better off standing in a corner or talking in more of an indoor voice as opposed to a loud voice.

A lot of my pet peeves are with drivers. One major one is a driver sitting at a green light due to not paying attention. Another is a person not using the turning lane to turn left or right and using the regular lane instead of the approriate lane (downright scary and annoying, but I have seen it several times in Sioux Falls).

I have other pet peeves: racist comments, people looking strange when one says "hi" to them, and overbearing people.

When my sock slips down into my shoe...
I too hate slow drivers in the fast lane. South Dakota has A LOT of them too. You go to any other state and it'snot nearly as bad. I also hate people on their cell phones when paying at a store. A cashier should get your undivided attention because they're helping you and not to mention, HANDLING YOUR MONEY!
I hate it when people order for a family of 13 at the drive-thru and it holds everyone else up!

Gaaaah! I could go on forever!

Haha, Danny, I think we all could... Totally agree about the cashier/cell phone thing... Its crazy! People chewing with their mouth wide open!

I just couldn't believe what I encountered today... I don't normally travel I-229... It was around 5:30 pm today, and the traffic was really heavy, but still.
I had to pass people on the right... and I was going the speed limit.
Sorry guys, I needed to vent!

Oh that's ok. Vent all you want and we'll listen.

UMMMM, my pet peeves are snotty and rude people. Also people who are extremely domineering and try to tell you exactly how you are going to do things and when. Another pet peeve of mine are people that you have to justify your actions to. I'm not referring to our bosses either~just people or relatives in general.

Narcissistic people HAVE to be my number one pet peeve.
They are SO superior and everyone else is dirt. I realize there is a brain malfunction, but they are impossible people to be near.

For a milder pet peeve~ditto to the people who have a cell phone growing out of their ear. Also people who don't use their signal lights, drive in the wrong lane for turns, or the ones who seem like they are fresh off the farm and take corners like they are driving huge equipment in an 80 acre field.

It is hard to say exactly why people tend to get frustrated easier at others when driving. My guesses would be that there is a greater sense of anonymity and people are often in a hurry when they drive to and from a given place such as work. A good point, MJ1986. I catch myself sometimes being overly critical of other drivers, therefore easily coming up with a number of pet peeves relating to driving.

Sioux Falls drivers

Cell phone rining in public places. And the mouth breathers who talk loudly on them.

I had a customer call me once she asked if I could hear her... "Nope sorry your connection is no the best" Her response was "OK I will talk louder"

adshook is on a distinguished road
why is it people think you can talk louder into a cell phone and that will give you a better connection? Like a cell phone is 2 cups with a string inbetween
