Working on Pine Ridge Reservation
If you took social services jobs at Pine Ridge, are there many places to live whether buying or renting. How is Pine Ridge as a town?

Not really. That job that you are looking at has a high rate of turn over.

It would not be my top choice - everything is governed by the tribal courts which is a very different game then your typical situation...

Jammie hit it head on -
The tribal courts as I noted above have a very different way of working - child protection positions in general have a very high turn over rate due to burn out, high caseloads, and frustration, and pair that with the tribal courts and look out! Having worked in child protection for 6 years (Metro Denver) I was the senior member on my team that I was with for only 4 years.... that is pretty sad!
Here is some interesting information - talking about why burn out is so high in general (which you probably already know) -
