Hey all -- Ripco on Russell and Main (Sioux Falls) hit $1.94 late yesterday!!
Guess I'll finally be able to fill my truck for less than $50 -- insert HUGE smile here.

The Concord Station in Baken Park is usually the cheapest in Rapid City. Sometimes the Conoco on Fairmont Boulevard too.

I saw it for $1.92 at Sams, but at HyVee it's $1.99 and if you go into the store and buy something, the receipt is usually good from .12 to .18 cents off PER gallon. That's quite the deal !!!

Mark-
Wow! Guess I'll have to get out of my neighborhood more often, didn't know that about HyVee. Usually gas up at Ripco, it's close to home. BTW, I've had people tell me that they don't get gas at Ripco because "it's bad gas" -- crap, I say -- been here 5 years, almost never gas up anywhere else and never had a problem. Just wanted to get that out there.

Usually, I fill up with Shell or BP gas and have the best luck with those brands, although there are some Shell and BP stations that I have bad luck and is probably due to water in tank or distributor of the oil to the store. I had bad luck with a BP in the Des Moines area and the Shell in Vermillion, but most others I have very good luck.

Depends on the car for fussieness. I can tell with my current car, but I had a 1989 Chevy Cavelier that was real fussy on the fuel. It chugged on Casey's fuel but did fine with Cenex and other fuels such as Conoco (when we had them in East River).

For a long time, I steered clear of Casey's, Phillips 66, and Conoco due to having bad experiences with them and stuck with Amoco/BP and Shell due to having good experiences.

When I filled up at Hy-Vee a couple weeks ago, the gas there made my car seem underpowered relative to what my car normally runs (must be those additives).

I seen $1.96 in Lennox. Going in the postive direction.

$1.93 at Exxon on the way home tonight. Usually Exxon is the most expensive too.
