I'll probably keep driving the Honda instead. The SUV still eats gas just as bad as ever. Even though gas is cheap, I'm not going to waste it!

I think I read somewhere that the government relaxed all the regulations about having different blends in different places? I'm not sure that it passed or was just a passing thought by someone....If it did I wonder if thats why California's gas is almost as cheap as here, usually it is like .30-.40$ higher I think......

CA does switch to a different blend in the winter months which may have helped to reduce the price. But another reason it is a bit less expensive right here than in other parts of CA is because the "tank farm" is just 15 miles away so the transportation costs are lower.

I went back to my hometown for Thanksgiving, to visit my parents and family. There is a very small gas station, that just recently reopened.
Gas was above $2.00... I can't remember exactly...
My parent's were nice to pay for my gas to drive back to SF... It's sad to think that the gas station there probably won't be open for too much longer. It's opened and closed a lot in the past years.

My brother said that he has seen over $2 a gallon at a truck stop along I-80 in Western Nebraska. My guess is that station is out in the boonies and along I-80 taking advantage of the motorists and the fact that it is near a holiday.
As long as the world economy is in a crisis, Oil will be in a crisis, and hopefully when the world economy bounces back, oil won't. Trust me, we have learned are lesson, now all the rich people want fuel efficient cars instead of gas guzzlers.
Perhaps, but I do notice this. The rich people are the most likely to afford the hybrid vehicles. I wonder when the hybrid vehicles will get cheaper.
