Thanks, Danny. I enjoyed the mountains and like the drier air. The sunrise in Ft. Collins this morning was beautiful. Unfortunately, the weather was chilly, cloudy, and rainy last weekend, but finally got sunny on Monday (but chilly). 40s in Colorado sure feels warmer than 40s in Sioux Falls or Minnesota.

I cannot believe how much higher gas is in Colorado as opposed to the eastern parts of South Dakota and Nebraska.

When I went to Sioux Falls, I have seen $2.55 per gallon for gas at a number of stations. A little surprising, but I am not going to complain.

Welcome back Chris!

Danny, I noticed the stations right off I-29 at 12th, 26th, & 41st were a bit higher... You'll be taking I-90, but I didn't get up to Cliff Ave. The Freedom Station at 12th & Kiwanis is usually cheap... its only a mile from I-29. Just depends on how far you are willing to venture into SF... The stations on Cliff & I-90 will probably have higher prices.
I hope you have a good trip!

Thanks MJ!

I did have a pretty good trip. I filled up at Four Hills down on Southeastern, I think??? It was $2.59 if I remember correctly. I was really amazed when I was in Minneapolis. It was $2.49!

Rapid City is still around $2.80.

Ahh, You must have ventured into town a bit. Was it the Cenex at Southeastern & Marson Drive? I've filled up there a few times...mainly because I have a Cenex card for rebates.
That's not a bad price at all.
I hope the $2.49 will reach us soon!

Well wife came home from work (at local gas station here) and said it had finally hit 2.99.

I gotta come down to rapid tomorrow (monday) anyway so I may still bring my Gas Cans along LOL.

Awesome. I heard from a coworker who went down to Omaha last weekend that a gas station in North Sioux City was at $2.39 per gallon.
