Oh my gosh, it is a small world! Myrtle sent me a few e-mails about a year and a half ago but my computer crashed and I lost her e-mail address. Richard contacted my parents a couple of times when he was in this area. Does Myrtle still live in Pierre? "for the time being" ?? My husband and I are thinking about coming back to SD this next fall. We may fly in to Rapid City since it is closer to Badlands, Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore....but we do plan on driving to Pierre. I want to see my friend again and want to visit some of the places we missed. Tell Myrtle to contact me or send a message thru you. Thanks.

Wayne passed away in May. I delivered the eulogy at his funeral.

Moderator cut: Reference to personal info removed Is Viola still living? My mother passed away March of 2007 and my dad just passed away in October. They were married 67 years. If you do talk to Myrtle, give her my condolences.
On a lighter note, we have snow in Louisiana, south Louisiana at that. Go to www.wafb.com and you can see the pictures of "our" snow. I have enjoyed looking at the pictures you all share of SD. You know, snow is a "big deal" here in the south, schools close and hardly anybody gets out to drive in it. A lot of times, they close the roads because "we" don't know how to drive in it. I only missed the snow when I was in SD by 3 days. I would have loved to of seen it.
Well, gotta get to work. It's property tax time and I'm buried in payments.

Viola passed away in July of 2002. She had a stroke in 93 and was in a nursing home. Send me a DM with your email and name and I will forward that to Myrtle.

Click on the member's name that you're trying to contact. A box will fall down so click on "Send Direct Message" or something like that. Then your letter will pop up. Just remember to click "Send" at the bottom when you're finished. I've forgotten that part at times.
When your contact replies, your mail will be in the upper right-hand corner below your name. It says, "Direct Messages".

Thanks to both of you for the help. my kids both do better with this kind of stuff than I do, but if they can do it, so can I. Y'all are probably both about their ages, 31 and 34.
