What do you mean no hills in eastern So. Dak???? There's um, um, oh yea, guess there isn't any.
OK, I've never even heard of "Empire". Where is it?

Just north of Bear Butte.
head north of Sturgis to Vale (bout 12 miles) and turn right. Go two miles and your in downtown Empire.

Let's try a little geography.
When you head north of Mitchel, following the railroad tracks, what Town Sites does the rr tracks go through before you get to Woonsocket?

Oh man, I suck at this game.  I really don't know since I've never paid attention where the railroad tracks go, BUT I'll venture a guess that it goes through Letcher for one of the towns. And maybe Artesian???? Loomis???
