Prairie Rattler. But are you going to check their green cards?

The gold star goes to jgussler. It is the Prairie Rattlesnake!
FYI, they will give you the excuse that they don't carry green cards because they have no hands, but don't buy it.

The Black Footed Ferrett, most endangered mammal, was reintroduced in South Dakota to try and get it off the endangered species list. Where did they re-introduce it at?

gussler-
I guess it was Mule Creek Junction that I was referring to earlier. Orin is a nice one. I like it when I can see Laramie Peak after leaving Lusk. It means I'm halfway to Denver! Sure is pretty around those parts; BUT TOO DESOLATE!!

It shouldn't be too difficult. It was on KOTA news at noon. Will probably be on this afternoon and this even also.
If anybody cries uncle, I'll give the answer and post a different question.

I'm off on the other side of the state so I don't get KOTA...but do I remember it was at Conata Basin in the Badlands National Monument?

I'm going to have to give it to you. They were released in Sage Creek Wilderness area. Of wich, Conata Basin is part of that. I know it was released in Sage Creek, but not exactly where.
Great job!

Oh here's an easy one. It was on Jeopardy this morning and I suck at that game, too.
There is an 85 foot tall monument being constructed in South Dakota and there will be a feather on his head. What is the name of the person it is in honor of?
Well, I wasn't sure about the 85 foot tall thing, but of course, my guess was correct as I'm sure it will be for all of you, too. Just have to add though that it was nice to see So. Dak. recognized and two of the players got it right.
