My first thought was "Yankton", but alas, I KNOW that's wrong.

Man, I'm going to have to guess on this one. Custer? My aunt lives just outside of Custer and last year I was showing her my GPS and I showed her that her house was at 5700 ft.

gussler got it again!
Custer's elevation is exactly 5280 feet above sea level; the exact same as Denver's. Rapid City's is 3,202... quite a bit lower, but not nearly as low as Sioux Falls at 1,442 feet.
New Orleans: -6 feet
