I watch KNBN Fox News also because it comes on an hour earlier than the other stations. Once in a while I will tune in KELO for news, but since it is an east river station, there isn't a lot on west river, but I think they have the most profesional newscast in our area.
I read the Journal as well as the Denver Post.

Other:
No local news--too Jerry Springer, thus mindless!
Real news: BBC (world), and Jim Lehrer (pbs). The rest is cable, but won't reveal, due too my leanings. Print: of course: "USA Today," the nation's newspaper, founded by Al Neuharth, native SD, from Eureka SD, found on the large weather map with each issue! Great question, thanks.

I'm kind of all over the board here. As for TV, I like to watch the shows that are the opposite of my thinking. Either I can chuckle or what they are saying or sometimes I can learn something. I hate the shouting guys on cable at night.
Either Morning Joe or Squackbox getting ready for work. WNAX on my way to work in the morning. Either Fox or CNN for the drive home. Huron Plainsman, Aberdeen American News, Argus Leader and Mobridge Tribune for print. Pretty structured.

For local news/weather/sports I watch KELO and read the Argus Leader (only because it's all we have in SF). For national news I watch Fox or CBS stations. It I want to watch tabloid news I watch Entertainment Tonight or Oberland/Maddow on MSNBC. Just like the National Enquirer, they give me all the REAL truth of what's going on .

KOTA, the best. And, I'm 210 miles away. But they have the best weather info for me. We have no other. Kind of off the grid. haha

Usually it's KELO for news. Not much into the paper most days. I can get most things I want to know off the net.

You are right. KEVN is Fox, KNBN is NBC.

Sioux Falls has KSFY and KDLT.
I can't stand how biased Fox News is...
