Oh I know, the memories of my sister and I suffering through the weekly dinner that always included them. Hey, I would have taken corn twice in one week, never really understood why that could not be changed up a bit. Anyway, I'll save a piece of that carrot cake for you. I agree, it is one of my favorite desserts, too.
For lunch, after another home improvement store run, Taco Bell!!
my 'yucks" are: rice pudding, and well done/overcooked beef. Liver I can tolerate, and I'm looking for a way to cook beef tongue, because I refuse to allow the butcher to grind it, in the burger.
As for the beef tongue, I'll have to check with my mom, but I believe she boiled the whole tongue, then sliced it fairly thin. I like it on bread, with a little salt on it.
Someone exploded chili, in my microwave..............again. After that mess was cleaned up, I made some stuffed cheese pretzels, and burned my tongue, on the cheese.

Chislic Feed, for the NASCAR Race, today! I'll be @ the bar.
Hi debey. Thanks for including the link for Chislic Feed. That really is specific to South Dakota isn't it? Without that link, I would have had no idea. And actually, from reading the info on it, I have to say that sounds really very good.
