Yeah, is that the "West" in West-Mex? And, if so, why? Do westerners have a fascination with potatoes?

I have never had fries and burritos together - just odd! But I guess every region has their food quirks!

Well and Idaho with all their spuds too. I am not a big potato fan. Depends on how they are cooked.

It took me a few YEARS, to eat potatoes, after I worked a potato harvest, up by Clark. Actually, it was Eastern Spink County. (I'm thinking that was 1983). It was a "dirty" job, as Mike Roe would say.....
