Chicken with potato wedges and baked beans at Bob's in Sioux Falls.
I would like to make a seafood casserole/salad sometime in the near future. Never made it but would like to give it a try. If successful, I might take it with me to a future holiday get-together with relatives.

We had our first Shepards Pie last night. Even though it was a frozen entre in a box, it was delicous. I want to make the dish from scratch and am wondering if anyone has any tips on how to make it. I have a couple of recipe's that I can put together, but I have also been told to make the mashed potatoes with sour cream. Is this a good idea and if so, how do I do that? What kind of spices would be best? I was thinking perhaps a little beef stock or bullion would be a good idea? Carrots and peas would seem to be the best vegtables or should I use corn? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
