We had Directv for a long time - came with a contract from Denver when we moved here - Loved Dirctv but was VERY upset I could not get locals here in Rapid via Directv- what a PITA!! We could get them with rabbit ears, but then could not TIVO anything and I CANNOT live without my TIVO !!! I was able to get NY / LA affiliate networks through Dirctv for an extra cost - when my contract was up we changed to Dish network and now get all the locals (but not the CW)....
