Almost forgot about this treasure!! I wish I would have had a good camera, the last time I climbed the tower. Next time, I will!

I've never been there, but I've heard raves about:

Preview: Sica Hollow is located about 16 miles northwest of Sisseton on the border of Marshall and Roberts Counties. One of the major draws to this relatively undeveloped park is the almost ten miles of multiple-use trails that climb through the ravines and meander along the edges of the bluffs. The mostly dirt and grassy single-track trails are shared with horseback riders, hikers, and cross-country skier...

I'm of a little different mindset.

1) Annual Spring horse sale in Mobridge.
2) Corn Palace Stampede (Jammie or Debey can verify if it still happens.)
3) The annual buffalo roundup and hunt.
4) A picknic in any city park in towns less then 2000.
5) Fishing at Lake Andease.
6) Evan's Plunge.
7) Badlands Baha in the early spring.
8) County fair in Armour.
9) Harvest time from Yankton to Watertown.
10) An unhurried tour of the Black Hills in "Off Season"

That, will give you a flavor of South Dakota.

I agree Elkhunter - my REAL list of the best things to do is not my "tourist" visitor attraction list I posted... but I will not post my real list of the favorites - I don't want to spoil the really fun secret things to do
