Last night or early this morning waiting for help the come, I was afraid the answer the call of nature. The stream would have froze and there is no way I want an icicle handing off of that.

Walked into the shop and they said it was under warranty and will be done this afternoon. It was a defective part that was replaced last fall...

The Gingerbread man...........

A little sugar,
A little spice,
a woman shaped him,
oh so nice!
He's made of dough,
and golden tan,
the closest thing,
to the perfect man!

This is the view from New Underwood. Clouds and fog moved in just in time for the eclipse, and by the time it reached totality the moon was completely obscured, so these get progressively dimmer and fuzzier. But here goes:

Before the eclipse and before the haze:

And it begins!

Awesome shots. I caught part of it though the clouds. It was pretty neat.
