I need more sleep! I was going to post my smile here, but I posted in the wrong thread... oops.

Anyways, I checked the forecast for SD, and it looks like NO severe weather tomorrow... Rapid has a 20% chance of T-storms tomorrow.
That's my smile!

You mean Accordion?

I haven't decided what puts bigger smile on my face with that goofy pickup

  1. That it is a pickup
  2. It is a Ford
  3. It is red
  4. The it has loud pipes. (loud pipes saves lives)
  5. It has a 5 speed transmission and I can run through all the gears
  6. That it likes to run
  7. Ladies of all ages seem to check out the pickup.

Oh airboat - I am sooooo jealous!!

There was a dealer here in Sioux Falls that had a 1990 jeep (sport style) that was jacked, stacked and had huge tires. Perfect condition. When I told my hubby about it I said "they have my jeep and they're holding it hostage for $6000. Can we go get it out??" I want a jeep so bad, currently have a 1995 Chevy pickup that is a good old girl, runs regardless and I love her to death, but a jeep, sigh.....

Enjoy! I know I will as soon as I get one in my driveway.

Sunshine and warmth and summer are enough to make me happy. As an added bonus, the trees and lawns are lush and the flowers are starting to look beautiful and the birds are singing. Life is good.

Jammie - I agree completely. I've really been enjoying a large tree in my front yard for the last week. It's a Catalpa and it's in bloom. Flowers look like huge snapdragon flowers, they're white with yellow and brown markings and they smell divine.....

Thanks Danny... This pickup truck stuff is making me sick. I'm kidding!!

I'm taking a long shot here, but does anybody know about the "Flag Lady" of Sioux Falls? She'll sit out in a lawn chair and wave her US flags to passing cars... In the summer, I see her all the time. She's usually along 12th, Kiwanis, and Russell.
I know I've seen her on the news a long time back too.
I've been tempted to stop and say hi when I see her.

She's my smile for today!

Debating tomorrow tour the hills... Maybe southern hills. Or poke around the badlands. Hmmmmm. Maybe flip a coin.

This somewhat carefree attitude is bringing a smile that I haven't had in a long while.
