Help, Motels Chamberlain Mitchell area
We are gonna be going back to Omaha on Tuesday Night (wife works till 7pm so its gonna be a late start) and we're thinking of making the pit stop in Chamberlain or Mitchell area for the night. We won't be getting into the area till after midnight or 1 am and I am having troubles finding a semi affordable room at a motel for that night. the biggest problem is we will have our border collie with us. 50-60 bucks a night for the motel is just something we can't really afford (the uhaul on the way back is taking up most of our funds and we want to be able to afford a room on the way back to Home also not just to the Storage unit in COuncil Bluffs). I'm a smoker but thats really not an issue for a room cuz I can go outside if need be, done it before lol.
Are there any cheap Motels that allow pets (I can understand the extra fee) in the chamberlain or Mitchell area. I sure wish there was some 19.99 rooms at this day and age like when I was younger lol.
Sorry to take up a whole thread on this issue.
Thanks in advance. I have tried searching Priceline, Expedia and to no avail.

Siesta Motel, Mitchell Hotels : Reviews of Siesta Motel - Yahoo! Travel
There are a lot of motels in Mitchell, but I'm trying to think of the less expensive ones. The Siesta is a cute motel and according to this site, it's 38 per night. But unfortunately with all the fees it'll probably end up being closer to $50 for the night. It does show that they accept pets, too.
We also have a Motel 6, but I didn't look for their pet policy~
http://www.motel6.com/ms/select-stay.do
There's also EconoLodge and their site says pets are allowed~

The three motels are very close to each other. If you're heading east, take the first exit you see when you get to Mitchell and you'll run right in to EconoLodge and Motel 6. You'd have to take the same exit, but you'd have to take a right on Havens to get to the Siesta.
I'm guessing that the main ones who show up on the travel websites are places like The Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, etc. If I think of any more, I'll let you know.

Ok thanks Jammie, We got a reservation for after midnight at the SIesta Motel, all in all 48 bucks I think not including uncle sams cut. Everybody else seemed to want 59-64 a night. Just cuz of the Extra adult. Man whatever happened to the old 20 bucks a night motels LOL

It's ok here. It's got links on it to more reasonable motels in Mitchell and someone may come along some day and be looking for one.
You chose a good one. I've never been inside, but the Siesta is a cute motel.

Yeah I wish it wouldn't be so late too, Might not be as late on the way back and was gonna see about staying at Al's Oasis on the way back. Since wife won't get off till about 7:30 hell that won't put us in rapid city till almost 9:30. Can't remember for sure how far chamberlain is from rapid and such. I gotta relook at my itinerary LOL. Would be nice to meet someone from the board in person and make sure they are REAL lololol and I'm not imagining you all LOL

There is a small hotel in Mitchell called the Coachlight. They let you have pets. The rooms are like $40 I think. Give or take a buck or 2. I know they also have flexible check-in if you let them know you are a late, late arrival. Let me know if you need the number.
