There are Taco John's locations in two of the Get N Go locations, one on S. Louise Ave by I-229 and the other on W. 41st St. way on the west side of the city. The mall has a location and a few more sprinkled throughout the city. They are doing fine. I would like to see Tea, Lennox, and Harrisburg each get one. Tea and Harrisburg, both around 4,000 people each would certainly be the right size for one to come in.

I, too, agree that it isn't real Mexican Food, but is good. As far as fast food (Mexican) chains go, it's a family favorite (it beats Taco Bell in our opinions). It's too bad we don't have one near us; we only get to enjoy them while on vacation.

I love the Potato Oles. I could eat buckets full of them if I really wanted to.

Since I don't really eat red meat anymore, I usually get the super potato oles and change the meat to grilled chicken - extra guacamole is a must!!
Taco John's is the reason our golden retriever learned to like black olives , but he's only allowed a few small bites and never anything with hot sauce.

Do I sound mean or what, lol I guess I got a taste of better food now I can't go back. I haven't eatin there since I moved back from AZ.
