I imagine that someone like that figures they're too intelligent to ever be caught. I haven't read it yet, but someone was saying that it sounds like he got his friend to help him get rid of her body. Quite the guy, huh?

For those of you who know him~what was he like? Quiet, shy, nice? Was he possibly high or drunk? Did that fit his character? Was he actually married? I got the impression the gal was possibly a threat to him cause he WAS married.

Oh, and I knew Tony, too~years ago. Wonder if they're related.

I cannot comment, on how many rumors, I have heard, but there are several more, Jammie...........
I do know that at one time, the victim worked @ the nursing home in Woonsocket, as well as the one in Wessington Springs. I have never met her, as far as I know.........

I knew him fairly well, my wife even more. We spent lots of time at his shop just shooting the breeze. He did many fixes that he didn't charge for, and he would stick with his estimates. I mean, I wouldn't invite him to dinner probably, but if I was out sometime I'd probably sit and eat with him if he asked. He is married, and they have two kids...people guess one is a sophomore, not sure about the other one. I have never seen him drinking or anything like that. He used to be at the shop until 10 at night (almost every night). I guess drugs are always a possibility, but doubtful to me. He was having blood pressure issues, but was on medication. And the word on the street is she was threatening going public with their relationship. It sounds like he has admitted it, and that he planned it. He could be in jail for a very long life, or even perhaps a very short one.

And yes, he called his friend in the middle of the night to help with the body and evidence. The friend cracked two days later. {rumor only - this afternoon word is spreading that the friend has committed suicide}

Exctly why I posted that there were several rumors flying around. Until you have a newslink, which backs up a post, in these types of situations, it is BEST not to post what was overheard, @ coffee.
I also know that the communities of both Woonsocket & Huron are mourning, and/or in shock. This kind of cr*p is not supposed to happen, in South Dakota.......

Beadle County State’s Attorney Michael Moore said an unidentified male reported Saturday that Flowers told him he killed Chua, as well as the details surrounding her death.

Oh my!!!! Just a couple hours ago, I finally sat down and read the story in the Mitchell paper. It sounded like he was actually a pretty nice guy~outwardly anyway. Another one that kind of debunks the theory that quiet loners usually do things like this. Just sad.

I haven't had any contact with his family for more than 20 years now, but from when I knew him, I would never have believed him capable of this. He was always a really nice guy with a good sense of humor and quite a few friends. Guess it depends on the situation a person is put into....
