Sioux Falls Arena
I was flipping through the channels and noticed that the Sioux Falls Arena was on ESPN. The Summit League in college basketball is holding the conference tournament in Sioux Falls.

Yep, saw that too. By the way your own South Dakota State womens basketball team is ranked 14th in the country and won their conference tournament and are going to the Womens NCAA tournament. North Dakota State won the conference championship for the men and they are headed to the NCAA tournament. Its great to see these Dakota schools be successful since they haven't been Division I for too long.

Even though I am a USD Coyotes fan, I am very happy to see SDSU win the women's and NDSU win the men's Summit League tournament in Sioux Falls. It is a victory for this part of the country and for South Dakota (for the women's).

Yeah I have been following the SDSU womens team all year. They pretty much have been ranked nationally around the 15-20 range...it's pretty cool to see some recognition, not to mention what it will do for the following recruiting classes.

I see they drew a number seven. They were hoping for maybe a five, but at least they're dancing. It is kind of cool, because looking at the roster you'll see that it is almost all local talent. Jennifer W. grew up just a few miles from where I did, and I'm pretty sure I played HS ball against her dad. Jill young is going to be good too it sounds. Not an alum, but when I saw them knocking off some pretty big schools, I became a fan.
