Jammie, How's the dammage, down your way?
Once again, our weather alert radio has been worth every penny.

Hope everyone made it through last night okay...we didn't get a drop, for all that they were forecasting, but it looks as though some of you might have taken a beating!

Got at least an inch or two or rain. No hail but a fair amount of thunder. I would like a drier couple of weeks or weather pattern. This storm every other day is getting old real quick.

Debey, we were watching the weather on tv so we knew it was gonna hit. Actually, we turned out fine. We had a downpour and tiny hail and some wind~not the 60 mph winds that were forecast so we were very fortunate.
I guess things weren't so good over in Mt. Vernon. They had baseball sized hail and vehicles got pounded.
About 15 miles south of town~extending even further southward~the crops were flattened. I was told that it was the entire 10 mile span from Parkston to Dimock so who knows how far southward it went.
I also heard that our local news showed cars with their windsheilds knocked out. (Possibly in the Lesterville area, but they weren't sure)
If I'd have known you were here this morning, I'd have came here and joined you. We could've had a "storm" party.

Did everyone turn out ok this morning?
We just ended up with another heavy rain, but I understand there was hail around your area, Debey.
