NickWins is on a distinguished road
Good to know Rapid City has an airport as well. I mostly need an aiport to keep in touch with family. Some are down here, some in a few states in New England. I know Sanford has a reginonal airport, they have to fly somewhere right?

Ideally I'd like to drive up there to check out a few different area's across the state. Have to wait for Uncle Sam to get my tax refund back to me. See where I'm at then.

Thanks for the info on RC's airport Danny. I was wondering what major hubs they'd fly into. I've gone through chicago (not o'hare) and the twin cities. I could handle doing those once or twice a year to get over to Bradley or Albany in the north east.

I'm leaning towards checking out both, like you said Jammie. See where the best oppurtunity for work is, and go from there. Knock on wood I can end up driving up. More freedom to roam around when I don't have to pay rental car miles.

Allegiant is what flies into Phoenix and Las Vegas. A flight to those cities can be as low as $17 and then they also connect to other cities for small fees. I saw that a flight from Rapid City to Las Vegas to Merced, CA would run about $50.

OK, over here Allegiant flies to Vegas, Phoenix, and Sanford/Orlando. Their rates are great at times, aren't they? There's a thread on here somewhere that they've added two more locations~somewhere in Ohio (?) and to Atlanta.

I guess that Old Man winter will not go out without a fight. One of winter's last hurrahs.

I would like to say good bye grumpy old man winter and hello spring.
