At least today I feel like I stayed home for a reason. Last week's "blizzard" it was barely even snowing - today it hasn't stopped since around 4 this morning!!

I have all the blinds open letting the sunlight in, and made a huge pile of paperwork to be sorted into prospective homes - and I'm sitting in the tiny little sunlight spot on my bed that comes back every 1/2 hour or so LOL

At least I'm home though - I can't imagine some of those people who post in the comments on the RCJ about their employers making them go into work!!!

Blizzards aside, how far a drive is between Rapid City and Sioux Falls, on a good day? Miles wise, it says about 326. Speed limit 70 or 60 mph on 90?

Thanks

75 for most of it I think. It's about 4 1/2 hours if you're doing the speed limit, and the weather is good.

The drive to Denver from Rapid City is about the same as the drive to Sioux Falls from Rapid City too. You can also get to Cheyenne in about 3 1/2 hours and Fort Collins/Loveland in about 4 hours. Denver's probably 4 1/2 -5 hours away.

Just to give you an idea of other cities nearby.

The speed limit on I-90 is 75 the entire way. It goes down to 65 once you get into Sioux Falls and Rapid City.

Thanks a lot. I'd like to drive up and check out a few different area's before committing to a move, see which I like best, which has the best oppurtunity. When that happens, I didn't want to spend half the time I could be checking out a city/area driving across the state.

That's doable if I plan on taking a week out to come up.
