I read that too Debey. Is it weather related?? The snow accumulation isn't extremely heavy yet.

My question: Where is Creighton?

Creighton is in Pennington Co. Suppose it's a mistake??

Maybe it's Creighton, Ne?

Thanks for the info, Debey. I hadn't heard that yet.

We got slammed over here and were just talking about the fact that we didn't lose electricity. The snow is very wet and heavy.

Did you guys luck out in Sx. Falls again?

Jammie, we did and we didn't . We received about 6 inches. It seemed to be a wet, heavy snow.
I had to work at 7 this morning, and drove on I-29 from 12th to 26th, which is about a mile, and I saw 3 cars in the ditch. Funny thing was that the city streets were is much better shape than the interstate.
Today a lot of the snow melted, and it should be gone by Tuesday!

The snow on my back porch is starting to melt, and you can see the green grass peeking through!! However, my parking lot up front has not been plowed yet, and there is still enough snow that I don't think I'm making it to work by myself tomorrow morning

I gotta make some phone calls, because I am NOT being stuck in this house with all my kids for a THIRD extra long weekend in a row - they are going to school, if I have to WALK them there

I know how you feel. I've done nothing but sleep for the past couple days because there's nothing else to do. It's great at first but then you get cabin fever. Actually, there were two stabbings around Rapid City yesterday. They accredited much of the blame to cabin fever and not being able to leave the house! Crazy!
