Default Sioux Falls #1-Forbes' Best Small Place For Business & Careers

Some good news in this recession!

Forbes ranked Sioux Falls #1 in the Forbes' 2009 Best Small Places for Business & Careers. Rapid City ranked 13th as well!

I'm not suprised. South Dakota always seems to be a prosperous state full of freindly and helpful people. The Black Hills region was my favorite place to go to shop and spend time outdoors when I lived in Alliance, NE. I'd move ther myself if I could find work in the oilfield, or managing a retail store. Maybe I may get my wish some day...

I think that Sioux Falls is well-positioned to grow and posper further after the recession. Although, I think that Sioux Falls should continue its focus on diversifying its economy and develop a stronger base of high-paying jobs and professional jobs. It is coming but takes some time and effort.
