Parker is a nice, quiet town. I've driven through it a few times. That's the only info I have!
Where are you located now?

Parker is about 25-30 miles from Sioux Falls and is a town of nearly 1,000 people. It has a rural flavor to it but is reasonably close to Sioux Falls for additional services, shopping, and medical care. It is a county seat for Turner County and has a nice grocery store for the size of the town. As for growth, it is holding its own (not shrinking but not growing as rapidly as Tea and Harrisburg). The school is smaller. Overall, the people are decent and seem friendly. Turner County Fair in August is an excellent small-town county fair and the event has be doing very well in recent years.

Overall, Parker is a clean, affordable place to live in and it is safe. It may take a little time to fit in, common with small towns. If one is friendly, down to earth, open-minded to a laid-back small town lifestyle, then one will do fine in Parker.

My only complaint is that the drivers in Turner County drive slow, especially when they come into Linocln County and in Sioux Falls. But that is with many rural areas.

I have been to Parker on few different occasions as a kid and go there for the fair or pass through every now and then.
