Default 240 Detour From I-90 - How Long?

Hello I will be driving westbound across South Dakota in late May, and I'm wondering how long it would take if I exited I-90 near Cactus Flats and took 240 through Badlands and met back up with I-90 at Wall?

SD 240 itself is 40 miles long. It starts at Exit 131 and loops back to I-90 at MM 108 right in wall

That's a fun drive and it's just long enough to get into the Badlands without getting sick of them. I'd say an extra hour or so, if even that.

I have been on that route when I was nine years old and had very vivid memories of the route. The badlands are neat to see and this route has some scenic views. Sometime in the next year or so, I should go there again (but I will end up taking too many pictures as usual).
