That would be so nice.. I hate huge crowds lol. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to catch these since we will be living down in rapid! We actually skipped 4th of july celebration fireworks the last two years cause they suck up here LOL. I'm sure my kids (and myself) would enjoy some good ones!

we aren't doing any big traveling.. hubby will be too busy with new store. We will be getting to know Rapid City and the area. I'm sure we will find plenty to keep us busy

West Texas to Colorado Springs and Denver, then Cheyenne, then Sturgis/Black Hills, Devil's Tower, Hot Springs, back to Denver for the Dora the Explorer Show on June 7th then back to Texas. We'll be about 10 days in the Black Hills but only because we can stay in our old house which is still for sale! We'll be camping out there but it beats paying for a motel!! Leaving in one week!

Pam

Jen, the Elks has a great fireworks show, that you can see from your apt if you're on the west or south side. It's really close to our homes. Actually, you up on the hill in the Valley, you'll be able to see the fireworks show in downtown Rapid, too.
We parked at Albertsons one year, then realized we could see everything from Twilight Dr near our home.

On Skyline Drive you can see the downtown fireworks, the Elks Club fireworks in the distance, and the Arrowhead Country Club fireworks on the Westside.

I'll be sure to DM you with the Rushmore "spots"!
